Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED: MARCH 26, 2026

Lightframer Pro ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you use the Lightframer Pro iOS application ("App").

Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the App. Lightframer Pro does not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Location Data
The App requests access to your device's GPS location to calculate sun position, golden hour times, blue hour times, and compass heading for your current location. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Camera Access
The App uses your device camera to power the augmented reality viewfinder. Camera data is processed in real time on your device and is never stored, uploaded, or transmitted.

No Account Required
Lightframer Pro does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.

No Analytics or Tracking
We do not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. No usage data is collected or transmitted from the App.

How We Use Your Information

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your personal information to any third parties. The only data exchanges that occur are standard iOS system interactions governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Data Retention

We do not store any user data. All location and camera processing happens on your device and is discarded when you close the App.

Children's Privacy

Lightframer Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

Your Rights

You may revoke camera or location permissions at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security. Revoking location access will disable sun tracking features; revoking camera access will disable the AR viewfinder.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected. We do not collect, sell, or share personal information. There is nothing to request deletion of on our end.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
